Founded by Tasiya Jan, together with his family members in kashmir. Born into a family of weavers and artisans, Tasiya Jan inherited a love for craftsmanship and a passion for preserving traditional techniques from a young age. Growing up surrounded by the intricate beauty of Kashmiri textiles, she was deeply moved by the dedication and skill of the artisans who brought these creations to life. Determined to honor their legacy and empower women in her community, She embarked on a journey to establish her own business rooted in the rich tapestry of Kashmiri culture. Tasiya and her team of artisans have dedicated themselves to infusing soul into every creation. For  years, our sole focus has been to empower our growing community of artisans, weavers and designers and create wearable pieces of art.

Mission

At Sozni House, our mission is two fold: to preserve and promote the timeless art of Kashmiri pashmina weaving, and to empower artisans especially women by providing them with opportunities to enhance their skills and contribute to the preservation of their cultural heritage. We believe in the transformative power of craftsmanship to not only create exquisite textiles but also to uplift communities and preserve traditions for generations to come.
